The Charter Vessel ' KATRINA ' is a fully licensed and Insured Catagory 2 - (60 miles) angling vessel equipped for up to 14 persons.
She is equipped with all mandatory life saving equipment along with the latest state of the art electronics, including :

A 48 mile range Radar fitted with A.R.T.A.
2 Differentially enhanced GPS units for greater accuracy.
- 2 x Digitally enhanced dual frequency colour sounders for enhanced bottom detection, plus fish and wreck definition.
3 x Colour Chart Plotters.
3 x VHF / DSC radio communication units.

Based in the Sovereign Harbour at Eastbourne in East Sussex. The ' KATRINA' is able to enjoy all of the benefits of being able to fish over every type of topography that you could wish, for including:

mud,

sand,

shingle,

shell,

light & heavy broken,

mussel beds,

chalk, rocks,

kelp beds,

reefs,

gullies,

sandbanks,

shoals, and much more.

Including one of the largest concentrated areas for wrecks to be found anywhere else in the country ............

With its large deck (22' by 13'), you can enjoy general fishing for :

Bass,

Cod,

Tope,

Smoothound,

Black Bream,

plaice,

dogfish,

mackerel,

channel whiting,

rays, and much more.

Or you can go wreck fishing for the larger species, such as:

cod,

pollack,

turbot,

ling,

larger black bream etc,

or that well known adversary - the mighty conger eel.

For your enjoyment, we prefer only 8 people. This allows more space, and less risk of the annoying tangles caused by over crowding which can be seen on other charted vessels.

Whether you are experienced or just plain old rusty, give yourselves a treat and try your hand at some first class angling. We cant guarantee you fish, nobody can, but at least you know that your in with a chance !!!

Even if you are a novice or complete beginner you are still catered for. We offer free tuition and are able to arrange tackle hire for you. Straight from the tackle shop!
